WHY DID YOU CHOOSE WVU?

WVU has one of the best programs for Forensic Science and Investigative Studies, where students can truly find their passion, gain the expertise needed for this field, and build lifelong connections that carry them into the professional sphere. I’ve been a resident of West Virginia for my entire life, and growing up here has shown me what true community and support mean. Morgantown has the strength and togetherness that this state has shown me growing up, and I can’t imagine being anywhere else.

What is your favorite Mountaineer memory?

Above all, winning the Backyard Brawl in the fall of 2025 has been the most powerful moment I have seen on campus. Going from a strong start to an equally strong fall, to finishing with a win after a nail-biting overtime segment, the crowd roared like no other that day, and the support during the fall to the loud Country Roads win was candidly unforgettable.

Why did you want to become a PSA?

I have always loved helping my fellow students, whether that be working as an Honors Mentor in our Honors College at WVU or serving in campus organizations. Becoming a leader here offers fulfillment beyond measure, and the best way to lead my fellow students to success is to become a PSA, which is what I do now with great pride.

What did you learn from the PSA experience?

I learned valuable methods for leading my peers in a way that would be more effective and conducive to our goals. I recognized my leadership flaws and strengthened myself as a leader through public speaking and service to my community.
