WHY DID YOU CHOOSE WVU?

II chose WVU because it felt like home! Both of my parents went here, so I grew up with WVU. I also really liked that it wasn't super far from my hometown and, financially, it made the most sense.

What is your favorite Mountaineer memory?

Beating Pitt at the Backyard Brawl (both Football and Basketball) this year!

Why did you want to become a PSA?

I had heard about the Presidential Student Ambassador program, and after some research, I thought it sounded fun and like something I would enjoy. Last year, I acted as a Hometown Ambassador for IMMB, which I really enjoyed, and I wanted to do that again, but on a slightly larger level. Ultimately, I wanted to connect with others, whether they are students (current and prospective), staff, faculty, alumni, or just anyone, by sharing my knowledge and love of WVU.

What did you learn from the PSA experience?

I learned so much from my PSA experience. I learned about and improved my leadership and public speaking skills. I also got to explore and understand who I am as a leader, what my strengths/ weaknesses are, and where I see myself as a leader in the future. But I think the most important thing that I got out of being a PSA is the friends that I made and got closer to!
