On April 13, 2022, the Presidential Student Ambassadors convened with WVU administrators for the Inaugural Presidential Student Ambassador Summit hosted by President Gordon Gee at Blaney House. The theme was “Are You Listening?”
As noted in the Premise Document prepared by Michael DiBacco, the joint effort was ”an opportunity for students to meet with faculty and university officials to discuss issues affecting the university community. These concerns are categorized under one of the three “R’s” to promote this summit: Retention, Recruitment, and Reinvigoration.”
Jillian Blair presented results of an undergraduate student survey for a wholistic and inclusive analysis of student life, academic experiences, issues to address, and successes to celebrate.
Co-chairs included Olivia Dowler and Devin Price (Recruitment); Jillian Blair and Aubrey Cumberledge (Retention), and Jacob Payne and Shamil Patel (Reinvigoration).
