I chose WVU, because I felt a personal connection in every corner of campus. It seemed like there would always be someone ready to support me with anything I needed - which proved to be extremely true.
What is your favorite Mountaineer memory?
This fall, I was able to sit in the fourth row for the WVU v. Pitt football game. I was surrounded by my friends, and we made it on TV where my parents saw.
Why did you want to become a PSA?
WVU has become my second home, and I felt the best way to show my gratitude for the campus hospitality was to become a PSA.
What did you learn from the PSA experience?
I learned that being a valuable follower is just as important as being a strong leader. True leadership begins with understanding others, leading with empathy, and empowering those around you to succeed. The program also gave me a deeper appreciation for WVU as a whole and showed me meaningful ways to give back to the community that has become such an important part of my life!
