WHY DID YOU CHOOSE WVU?

I knew WVU had an excellent nursing program; therefore, WVU was on my list of colleges to tour. As soon as I first stepped foot on the West Virginia University campus, I knew it was the place for me. WVU has so much to offer through educational opportunities such as research, and this university has many extracurricular activities for you to participate in through involvement in student organizations. The faculty and staff make you feel like you are a part of one big mountaineer family.

  • What is the BEST reason to attend WVU?

The best reason to attend WVU is to gain a valuable education with access to various research opportunities, and another great reason to attend WVU is to meet lifelong friends by joining student organizations on campus.

  • What is your favorite Mountaineer memory?

My favorite Mountaineer memory is attending football games and basketball games with thousands of other mountaineers and joining hands and singing country roads after a huge Mountaineer win.

  • Why did you want to become a PSA?

I wanted to become a PSA because I wanted to make a positive impact on the West Virginia University community. I enjoy being a Mountaineer. I’m heavily involved in my campus community. I want to see West Virginia University continue to prosper. I wanted to be a presidential student ambassador because it would allow me to help improve campus life at West Virginia University. It would also allow me to further develop my leadership skills while promoting the joys of being a mountaineer.
