WHY DID YOU CHOOSE WVU?

WVU made me feel welcome from the second I stepped on to campus. The community here in Morgantown is not only fiercely devoted to its school but filled with opportunity. WVU’s proximity to home, world-class education, and numerous scholarship opportunities made it a natural choice for me.

  • What is the BEST reason to attend WVU?
WVU is a land-grant university, meaning it was created with the primary purpose of serving its community. This university has continued to act on that mission as it tirelessly works towards improving every aspect of West Virginia. You will not find a school that is more devoted to its community. Through attending, you too can become a part of a devoted network of Mountaineers all throughout the state and even the world.
  •  What is your favorite Mountaineer memory?

During my time here, my mom decided to pursue her life-long dream of going back to school for Nutrition, and at WVU no less. One of my favorite memories is that we did have two classes together and truly embodied the idea that West Virginia University will become your family. I am remarkably proud of her hard work and determination and look forward to watching her graduate.

  • Why did you want to become a PSA?

In my time as an Honors College Ambassador I realized I had an innate passion for mentorship. Whether it be to help a fellow Mountaineer or to speak to a potential one, talking to students through the college decision process is something I absolutely love to do.
