My uncle and aunt both attended West Virginia University and were major contributors to the student climate at the university, both as students and as a faculty. My uncle was Student Body President, President of his fraternity, and elected Vice President of Institutional Advancement by President E. Gordon Gee. My aunt was the Assistant Dean of Career Services at the Law School. I loved hearing my family talk about their experience at the university and the amazing opportunities here. So, when it came time to choose a college, the choice was pretty easy.
What is your favorite Mountaineer memory?
My favorite Mountaineer memory was the WVU vs. Pitt football game in the 2023 season. It's always fun when WVU wins, but especially against Pitt. The atmosphere was just electric the entire game and it just made the whole day so special. I always love singing Country Roads after the game.
Why did you want to become a PSA?
I wanted to become a PSA because it allows me the perfect opportunity to give back to my community and help make a difference on future Mountaineers. Being a PSA allows me to better my own leadership and communication skills that will follow me throughout my entire professional career and personal life.
