I chose WVU due to the great sense of community and pride I felt as soon as I stepped onto campus. Mountaineers not only look out for their own, but they are always ready to lend a helping hand and serve their community through a number of outlets. WVU's sense of state and school pride is contagious; you can't help but fall in love with the campus and community.

What is the BEST reason to attend WVU?
The best reason to attend WVU is because of the numerous opportunities WVU provides to its students. Whether it's in one of our 483 student organizations or in an R1 research lab, students always have the opportunity to get involved and make their mark on campus.

What is your favorite Mountaineer memory?
My favorite memory of becoming a Mountaineer was meeting the Honors College Dean, Dr. Ken Blemings, on my second day on campus. He asked me how I liked WVU, and I simply replied, "It's a lot of walking and hills." He laughed at my response and now shares that story when he speaks to new students at WVU Decide Days or Ndw Student Orientation. That simple encounter made me comfortable to be myself and gave me the confidence to continue that authenticity throughout my college career. -
Why did you want to become a PSA?
I love speaking with students and sharing stories of my amazing experiences at WVU. Therefore, becoming a PSA is the perfect outlet to connect with prospective students and help them to see the endless opportunities they can find on campus.

What did you learn from the PSA experience?
The PSA program has taught me many lessons on the importance of student inclusion, student leadership, and most importantly, student success. Having completed the PSA program, I feel that I can confidently represent the University when speaking with current or prospective students.
