Why did you choose WVU?

In all honesty, WVU was not my first choice when thinking about where I wanted to go to college. However, after learning about all the various academic and extracurricular activities it could provide for me and my college experience, I realized that becoming a Mountaineer was the best choice I could possibly make.

  • What is the BEST reason to attend WVU?
The best reason to attend WVU, in my opinion, is the campus atmosphere. WVU is one of the most welcoming and fun-filled college campuses in the entire country. There is a place for every single type of person here, and I think that's what makes it so special.

  • What is your favorite Mountaineer memory?
My favorite Mountaineer memory, so far, has been meeting so many new people and making great friends through the different opportunities WVU has given me. I love that I have been able to broaden my horizons and find people just like I am so we can share our college experience.

  • Why did you want to become a PSA?
I wanted to become a Presidential Student Ambassador because I felt that the program would provide me with the opportunity to give back to the University that I love so much by expressing what WVU has done for me and can do for others. Having the chance to tell potential students, parents, faculty and staff what WVU means to me is truly an honor.

  • What did you learn from the PSA experience?
From the PSA experience, I learned that being an effective leader is one of the most important things a person can be. With good leadership, anything is possible.
