WVU has been part of my life since I can remember. Although my parents didn't go to WVU, I was raised as a WVU sports fan and fell in love with the gold and blue as a little girl. I couldn't imagine choosing any other school.
What is the BEST reason to attend WVU?
The best reason to attend WVU is because WVU isn't just a place of higher education, it really represents the state as a whole. The West Virginia pride and home-town atmosphere in a major university is something you won't find anywhere else. What is your favorite Mountaineer memory?
My favorite Mountaineer memory was going to the WVU vs. Oklahoma game with my dad a few years before I came to college. Just before the game started, there was a sudden downpour of snow and the stadium went wild. I loved the atmosphere and how proud and excited people were for our team. Why did you want to become a PSA?
I was slightly scared to be a PSA because I used to get nervous speaking in front of large groups of people. But, I knew I wanted to be one because I am so proud of going to WVU that I needed to face that uncomfortable feeling and be prepared to share my experience at WVU with new audiences. What did you learn from the PSA experience?
Learning to be an effective communicator was the biggest part of being a PSA. Also, I learned a lot about my leadership style and what it really means to represent a group of people that is larger than myself.
