Why did you choose WVU?

What is your favorite Mountaineer memory?I chose WVU as it just felt like home. My friends and family went to WVU, so seeing all of them so happy with their choice made it easy for me to make the choice to attend WVU. WVU’s research programs and amazing opportunities for student engagement and leadership were also key factors in my decision.

What is your favorite Mountaineer memory?

My favorite Mountaineer memory will always be my Monday Night Lights. My freshman class didn’t get to have one during our first year, so it was held at the beginning of my sophomore year. I just remember seeing so many of my peers having a great time, laughing, and singing country roads.

Why did you want to become a PSA?

I wanted to become a PSA because leadership is important to me. I want to do anything that can get me engaged with campus and interacting with students.

What did you learn from the PSA experience?

I found the PSA experience to be extremely fulfilling. I learned so much about myself and my own public speaking abilities, as well as how to build confidence and become an effective public speaker. I have also learned that there will always be a place for me to belong, and the cohort that I worked with (and will continue to work with) are so kind and accepting of anyone. Working with some of the best students at WVU has also taught me how to be the best student I can be.
