WHY DID YOU CHOOSE WVU?

I chose WVU because of the amount of opportunities the school provided for me as an out of state student. I applied to WVU as a back up option but quickly realized after touring and being on campus that it felt like more than a school but rather a home. I have been able to do so many things just throughout my first year at school. I am so thankful to call WVU my second home and will cherish it forever.

What is your favorite Mountaineer memory?

Studying abroad going into my freshman year. We went to Greece to study the economics of the Olympics. It was perfect timing because the Olympics where going on in London at the time as well. I made so many great friends who I am still friends with today and was able to get credit hours while doing so.

Why did you want to become a PSA?

I wanted to become a PSA because I wanted to be able to give back to the school that has provided me with so much. I am so thankful for this opportunity to be involved in the community especially as an out of state student. I want to make my mark on WVU and I think this program will allow me to do so.

What did you learn from the PSA experience?

From the PSA experience, I was able to learn the importance of leadership as well as how I could improve my public speaking. I learned a lot from my peers throughout the semester as they motivated me to be the best version of myself every day, no matter what.
