WHY DID YOU CHOOSE WVU?

I had toured several other colleges before visiting WVU my senior year but when I stepped on campus, I knew instantly that it was the place for me. I remember telling my mom in the car after the tour, "Yep I'm going here."

What is your favorite Mountaineer memory?

Singing Country Roads at the end of football games.

Why did you want to become a PSA?

I wanted to become a PSA to develop my leadership and public speaking skills. Although I'm in several clubs and activities, I wanted to get more involved in the WVU community. I was also excited for the opportunity to meet new people.

What did you learn from the PSA experience?

I learned that there's more to being a leader than holding a title or power. True leadership is about service, empathy, and the willingness to grow - not only yourself but those around you. The best leaders aren't the strongest, biggest, or loudest- they're the ones who know what's going on in the world and with their peers.
