Cohort 15 engaged in active shooter training de-escalation with WVU UPD Sgt. Jarrett Kuhn (photo 1) and learned about de-escalation from WVU UPD Captain Brock Armstrong (photo 2). While active shooter training emphasized the "Run, Hide, Fight" protocol, de-escalation focused on calming agitated individuals in a variety of situations. PSAs were encouraged to download the LiveSafe app.
