WVU was one of the only colleges I visited that emphasized my major, Industrial Engineering. Every other college seemed to have it as an afterthought on their websites and while I was touring, but WVU realized the importance of showing off their amazing program and really sold me on it. I also really love the outdoors, and WVU is close to some amazing spots to hike and backpack.
What is your favorite Mountaineer memory?
WVU vs. VT football game fall of 2021. The energy was electric in the stadium, and there was no sweeter feeling than being able to sing country roads at the end of the game. I was with a bunch of my friends, and we were all screaming our heads off the entire time.
Why did you want to become a PSA?
I wanted to give back to the college that has given me many great opportunities and to show others why WVU is called "Almost Heaven".
What did you learn from the PSA experience?
I learned a ton about different WVU programs that I previously had not interacted with. I also learned a lot about how to be more conversational in my speeches and use non verbal communication. I also got to learn a lot about students from other majors and what their experiences with WVU are
