WHY DID YOU CHOOSE WVU?

I grew up coming to Morgantown to watch football and basketball games with my family, and I always wanted to be a Mountaineer. When I visited WVU, I was impressed by the opportunities for undergraduate students to get involved in research and also by the overall commitment to student success.

What is your favorite Mountaineer memory?

My favorite Mountaineer Memory was being in the live audience for “The Pat McAfee Show” at the beginning of my freshman year. I have been a Mountaineer fan all my life, so it was worth standing in the heat all day to get an up-close view of some Mountaineer legends from over the years. “The Pat McAfee Show” was held on the downtown campus of WVU at the site of Old Mountaineer Field.

Why did you want to become a PSA?

I wanted to become a President Student Ambassador to further develop my public speaking and leadership skills. I value community service, and I felt that being a PSA was the perfect opportunity for me to serve the university and the student body.
