I chose WVU because the first time I visited campus, I could see myself here. When I did my research, I got to see all the amazing opportunities and resources WVU has to offer. I knew that this would be a place where I would succeed.
What is your favorite Mountaineer memory?
My favorite Mountaineer memory is when I moved in to my dorm freshman year. I met my roommate who I love and some of my best friends the day I arrived and I felt at home very quickly.
Why did you want to become a PSA?
I wanted to become a PSA to give back to WVU and help potential new students see how great the school is. I want to be able to help make a difference at WVU and leave a good impression on others here.
What did you learn from the PSA experience?
The PSA experience has been a great way to learn new things, grow my skills, and meet new people. I learned about true leadership from amazing individuals and can truly say I am an improved person and leader at the conclusion of the WVUe 280 class. I was able to reflect on my leadership development, my strengths, and my weaknesses with an great mentor and wonderful peers. I have seen much improvement in my confidence, speaking skills, and leadership skills. Focusing on my personal and professional growth in class for an entire semester is an opportunity that I am very grateful for.
