Sales Competition! A senior from Coalton, WV, she is majoring in marketing and
minoring in professional sales. The competition consisted of three rounds which
included presenting an elevator pitch and two sales pitches.
Meshea L. Poore, Esq., WVU Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, completed
the PSA Leadership Lecture Series for Spring 2020. VP Poore reminded students
that leaders often forget to care for themselves, especially during a difficult
time such as the one we are now experiencing.
In October 2019, PSA Taylor Miller presented "The Art of Spoken Communication Services in the Writing Center," at the International Writing Center Association's National Conference for Peer Tutoring in Writing in Columbus, Ohio.
This summer, Hannah has worked with our account executives and their teams to learn the best business-to-business (B2B) public relations (PR) and marketing practices for increasing clients’ brand awareness. She is responsible for pitching stories to industry media, writing blog posts for clients, transcribing interviews, tracking client hits and joining client calls. Hannah also has completed several online training courses through HubSpot, earning certifications in Inbound Marketing, Email Marketing, and others.
“I am excited to help students from different STEM disciplines get acclimated to college and learn how to do research,” said Abby Sine, a math major from Blacksville. “We hope to keep engaging the students once they return to campus in the fall because it’s a natural connection. These are students they already know, and they will have a built-in support system.”
